Positive Thinking

I need to get into positive mode, so I wrote myself a pep talk on the chalk board in my office. Sometimes I get a bit discouraged with my jewelry line not taking off the way I would like but I know if I continue to believe, it will happen.

I'm at a loss right now as to where to go next with my designs. Does anyone out there have any suggestions???

On another note, I made a new bracelet.

This was made with vintage pearls and a vintage rosary piece.

More to come. I'll just keep designing with the hope that I'll catch someone's eye.
Have a great day.
 Sincerely,
Melinda

Update:
I decided to add another link on to this bracelet. So now it has double the pearls. Who wouldn't want that?!

  2. Good for you. We all need to give ourselves a pep talk, because if we don't believe in ourselves, who will. I do collages. I have always had good feedback on them, but they have never been for sale. I have a chance to showcase them at a local coffee shop. It is exciting and scary to put something so personal to yourself out there...what if no one likes it.... Then I remember that I do it for me. I hope that someone will like it, but if I have produced a good work, than I should be happy. I won't be giving up my day job any time soon I assure you. But I have fun. Your stuff is gorgeous, what is not to love about them. So you just keep putting yourself out there....good things will happen.

  4. Your goodies are beautiful Melinda! I'd try some craft shows to start out with if you haven't already, and do a line of initials, they sell like hot cakes. Never give up on what you love to do! Take care, Martha

  6. Hi,
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Your jewelry is really pretty. Do you have an Etsy shop? Have you tried going around your town to the cute shops? I sell my crowns and other stuff to shops and I have an Etsy, but mostly to the shops, and special orders from my blog. How about flea markets or a small booth in an Antique mall?
    Hope this helps a bit,
    Rosemary
